Christ Ahnsahnghong and Tree of Life

Have you ever wondered why we come to die? Or how can we live forever? The Bible teaches us that death originated in the Garden of Eden. Therefore, we should search for the hidden secret of eternal life where it had been lost. The story of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden is a parable. Parables are stories that have a hidden message. So let us take a look at scene from the Bible.

Tree of Life and Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil

When God created the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve used to wander around freely. God created various kinds of trees and plants, but he also placed in the Garden two special trees. The first was the tree of life and the second was the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Each tree had different characteristics.

Genesis 2:9 … In the middle of the garden were the tree of life and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

Genesis 2:16 And the Lord God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden, but you must not eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil for, when you eat from it you will certainly die.”

There was only one law in the Garden of Eden: do not eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. What would happen if Adam and Eve ate from this tree? God said “You will die.” However, the serpent deceived Adam and Eve into eating from the forbidden tree.

By committing the foolish act of disobeying God, they lost their eternal life. Death originated from that time.

Tree of Life in the Garden of Eden – Eat and live forever

Now let us find the secret of life that is also in the Garden of Eden.

God promised that whoever eats from the tree of life will live forever. Adam and Eve came to die because they had committed sin after being tempted by the serpent. What Adam and Eve really wanted was to live forever and remain in the beautiful Garden of Eden with God. If they were allowed to eat from the tree of life they could have lived happily forever.

Genesis 3:22 “…He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat and live forever.

The only way for sinners to live forever is to eat from the tree of life.

Adam and Eve lost the right to eat from the Tree of Life

Since Adam and Eve wanted to live forever, shouldn’t they have eaten from the tree of life? However, they lost the right to eat from the tree of life because they disobeyed God.

Genesis 3:23-24 So the LORD God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken. After he drove the man out, he placed on the east side of the Garden of Eden cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life.

God did not allow Adam and Eve to eat the tree of life anymore after they committed sin. God blocked the way so that they could no longer reach the tree of life.

Tree of Life that sinners need

What does God want to teach us through this parable of the tree of life, that He explained it in so much detail? This is a parable teaching us how we can have eternal life.

After committing sin, Adam and Eve were banished from the Garden of Eden. What they needed to regain eternal life was a way to eat from the tree of life.

In the same way, Bible testifies that we are sinners imprisoned on this earth in mortal bodies (Rom 6:23). If only we can find the way to eat from the tree of life, we can have eternal life. Then, what is the reality of the parable of the tree of life in the New Testament?

Reality of the Tree of Life – the New Covenant Passover

Let’s see how God brought the tree of Life to this earth for us. We, as mortal beings, cannot go to the Garden of Eden (which represents heaven) to eat from the tree of life. Therefore, our magnificent God made a plan to bring the tree of life to this earth for us. He came down from heaven in the name of Jesus as a man. He opened the way for us to eat from the tree of life so that we can live forever once again.

John 6:53 Jesus said to them, “…unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.”

Jesus said, if we eat His flesh and drink His blood, we can have eternal life. This means that Jesus Himself is the reality of the tree of life. By partaking of His flesh and His blood, we are actually eating from the tree of life in the Garden of Eden.

Then, how can we eat Jesus’ flesh and drink His blood?

Matthew 26:17-28 While they were eating, Jesus took bread [Passover bread],…saying, “Take and eat; this is my body.” Then he took a cup [Passover wine],…saying, “Drink from it…This is my blood of the [new] covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.”

Luke 22:14-15 When the hour came, Jesus and his apostles reclined at the table. And he said to them, “I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer.”

Jesus promised His flesh and blood in the bread and wine of the New Covenant Passover. Therefore, the New Covenant Passover bread and wine is the way to partake of Jesus’ flesh and blood. Our amazing God took pity on us and brought us the tree of life by establishing the Passover of the New Covenant.

God established the New Covenant Passover

Since God was the one who blocked the way to the tree of life, only God has authority to open the way to it. The one who brings this Passover to us must be God!

John 10:10 …I have come that they may have life and have it to the full [eternal life].

Who brought us the Passover of the New Covenant two thousand years ago? It was Jesus. It means Jesus is God.

God restored the way to the Tree of Life – the New Covenant Passover

The Passover of the New Covenant was abolished in 325 AD at the Council of Nicaea. New Covenant Passover, the reality of the tree of life, is essential for sinners to receive eternal life. However, no one could eat from the tree of life since that time.

God promised to come back a second time to restore the tree of life. God Himself has to come to this earth because only God can open the way to the tree of life.

Hebrews 9:28 So Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.

There is one who has already restored the Passover of the New Covenant and opened the way for us to eat from the tree of life. His name is Christ Ahnsahnghong.

God came in the name of Jesus to open the way to tree of life by establishing the New Covenant Passover. God has come a second time in the new name Ahnsahnghong to open the way for us to eat God’s flesh and blood by restoring the Passover.

Tree of Life and Christ Ahnsahnghong

Isaiah 25:6-9 On this mountain the LORD Almighty will prepare a feast of rich food for all peoples, a banquet of aged wine [New Covenant Passover] – the best of meats and the finest of wines. On this mountain he will destroy the shroud that enfolds all peoples, the sheet that covers all nations; he will swallow up death forever…The LORD has spoken.In that day they will say, “Surely this is our God; we trusted in him, and he saved us. This is the LORD; we trusted in him; let us rejoice and be glad in his salvation.”

According to prophecies, Ahnsahnhong has restored the aged wine (Passover of the New Covenant) which was hidden since 325 AD. For over 1600 years, no one was able to restore the Passover as Bible has prophesied this will be accomplished by God Himself. Then who is our God who has restored the aged wine that swallows up death forever? By restoring to us eternal life, Christ Ahnsahnghong is surely our God who have fulfilled the prophecies of the Bible.
