Be Baptised in the Name of the Holy Spirit

Why should we receive Baptism?
Baptism has power to grant forgiveness of sins and salvation only when it is conducted in the name of the Saviour. For example, a cheque is merely a piece of paper without the signature of the account owner. When the account owner changes their name and signature, all cheques thereafter should be issued in the new name. In the same way, baptism without the name of God is merely a shower without the promise of God. Only God has authority to forgive sins (Mk 2:7). We need to recognise God, who uses a different name as the Saviour in each age. Most important, receiving baptism in God’s name is a prerequisite for forgiveness of sin and salvation.
We are currently living in the age of the Holy Spirit. The complete baptism that Jesus instructs us to receive contains the name of the Father and of the Son, and also the name of the Holy Spirit.
Matthew 28:19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit…
Many people are simply baptised in the title of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. However, we need to distinguish between the title and the name. Isaiah stated that salvation is given only in the name of Jehovah (Isa 43:11). Peter emphasised that salvation is found in no other name except the name of Jesus (Acts 4:11-12). Thus, in the age of the Holy Spirit, salvation is granted to us only in the name of the Holy Spirit, Ahnsahnghong.
Ahnsahnghong is Jesus’s New Name
Holy Spirit, here, is the title of the second coming Christ (Rev 22:17). Ahnsahnghong who has come in fulfillment of the Bible prophecies is the new name of Jesus.
Hebrews 9:28 So Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.
Revelation 3:12 …I will also write on them my [Jesus’] new name. Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
Revelation 2:17 “Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who is victorious, I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give that person a white stone with a new name written on it known only to the one who receives it.”
God once appeared as the Son in the name of Jesus. When Jesus appears a second time, He will have a new name (different to ‘Jesus’ that He used 2000 years ago). The name of the Saviour in the age of Holy Spirit is Jesus’ New Name – Christ Ahnsahnghong. Baptism in the name of the Saviour contains the promise of salvation.
Rebaptism into the Name of the Saviour
The true church, as Bible prophecies, must baptise people in the name of the second coming Christ – Christ Ahnsahnghong. It is important to ensure that we receive baptism containing the name of the Holy Spirit – Ahnsahnghong. This is because it is Jesus’ instruction for correct baptism. 2000 years ago, people who had been baptised without knowing Jesus, the Saviour in that age, were baptised again.
Acts 19:3-5 So Paul asked, “Then what baptism did you receive?” “John’s baptism,” they replied. Paul said, “John’s baptism was a baptism of repentance. He told the people to believe in the one coming after him, that is, in Jesus.” On hearing this, they were baptised in the name of the Lord Jesus.
Why did Paul baptise people who had already been baptised? It is because they had simply been baptised with water and had not been baptised in the name of Jesus. This Biblical teaching about rebaptism shows the will of God for us who live in the age of the Holy Spirit. We need receive baptism again in the name of the Holy Spirit – Jesus’ New Name – Christ Ahnsahnghong. Only then we can say we have received true baptism.
Where can we receive this true baptism?
World Mission Society Church of God gives baptism in the name of the Father Jehovah and of the Son Jesus and of the Holy Spirit Ahnsahnghong. The Church of God gives baptism in these three names according to Bible prophecies. Let us receive complete baptism in the World Mission Society Church of God.
Mark 16:16 Whoever believes [in the name of the Saviour Ahnsahnghong] and is baptised will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.
